Hi, I'm Basjan
'Solo Traveler, Photographer & Drone Pilot'
I’m a solo traveler, photographer, and drone pilot drawn to the paths less taken. I seek out remote places for their quiet stories and connections; the moments most people miss. Through my images, I hope to inspire deeper, more mindful exploration.
My Story
Travel became my classroom long before I owned a drone. I’m drawn to places where the crowds don’t gather; mountain passes at dawn, quiet alleys after rain, and the kind of conversations that unfold when time feels unimportant. Over the years, photography has carried me into moments I never planned for: celebrating Holi in the streets of Varanasi, sharing tea with locals in eastern Turkey, driving in Bhutan with a chanting driver or hiking remote trails where the map becomes more suggestion than certainty. Each journey teaches me to look closer; at light, at texture, at stories hiding in plain sight, and each photograph is my way of keeping that sense of wonder alive, long after I’ve left the place behind.

Life at Home
When I’m not on the road, you’ll find me cycling the canals, practicing yoga, hitting the gym, or editing late into the night, often with our mischievous Bengal cat trying to sit on the keyboard, while my fiancée makes me tea. Those everyday routines are my way of growing, reflecting, and staying curious, reminding me that wonder can live just as easily at home as it does on a ridge at 4,000 meters.
